The 2020 Royal Enfield Himalayan has been launched, gets new features and colours.
The 2020 Royal Enfield Himalayan has been launched in India at a price of Rs. 1.86 lakhs to Rs. 1.91 lakhs (ex-showroom). The adventure motorcycle is available with new colour options along with a couple of new features. The Himalayan is also BS6 compliant.
The 2020 RE Himalayan comes with switchable ABS and a Hazard switch. The motorcycle is powered by a 411cc, single-cylinder, 4-stroke, SOHC, air-cooled, fuel-injected engine which produces 24.3 PS at 6500 RPM and 32 Nm at 4000-4500 RPM. The engine complies with BS6 norms and gets a 5-speed constant mesh gearbox.
Royal Enfield has also worked on the braking mechanism to offer lesser stopping distance. The motorcycle also gets an improved side stand. Along with the existing colour options, the motorcycle is now available with new colour options like Lake Blue and Rock Red. The Himalayan is backed with a 3 year warranty.
