Kawasaki has renamed the Z1000 as the Ninja 1000SX and given it some updates.
Kawasaki has revealed the 2020 Ninja 1000SX which is nothing but an updated version of the Z1000SX with a name change. The motorcycle gets minor changes to the design thanks to which it looks sportier and slicker. The exhaust also gets a single end-can now.
In terms of features, the 2020 Kawasaki Ninja 1000SX comes with new LED lights, cruise control, colour TFT instrument console which is compatible with smartphones using the Rideology app. The motorcycle remains mostly similar to the older model apart from these minor changes.
The 2020 Kawasaki Ninja 1000SX is powered by a 1043cc, inline-4 engine giving out 142 HP at 10,000 RPM and 111 Nm at 8000 RPM. The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox with an assist-and-slipper clutch. The motorcycle is now Euro-5 compliant.
The Kawasaki Ninja 1000SX gets two power modes, three level traction control system, IMU-based cornering ABS, electronic cruise control and up-down quickshifter.
