The latest addition to the Indian Motorcycles lineup is the Challenger bagger style motorcycle.
The American premium cruiser motorcycle maker has added a new bike in their portfolio – Indian Challenger. The bagger-style cruiser motorcycle has just been revealed globally and it looks huge.
The styling looks similar to Harley-Davidson Road Glide with a huge fairing up front having LED headlight with DRLs. It has a chassis mounted semi-fairing. Comes with long-haul seat, weatherproof saddlebags with 68 litres of storage capacity, electrically adjustable windshield, etc.
The Indian Challenger comes equipped with hi-tech features such as Smart Lean Technology that works with cornering pre-control, dynamic traction control, ABS and Drag Torque Control. The bike gets Ride Command system which is a 7-inch infotainment touchscreen unit that has bluetooth connectivity.
Powering the Indian Challenger is a 1769cc 60-degree V-twin liquid-cooled engine that produces 122 HP and a peak torque of 178 Nm. This engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox with clutch assist. It features three modes – Rain, Standard and Sport.
The bike is available in three variants – Standard, Dark Horse and Limited. The Dark Horse is available in three colour options – Thunder Black Smoke, Sandstone Smoke and White Smoke. The Limited version is also available in three colour options – Thunder Black Pearl, Deepwater Metallic and Ruby Metallic. We hope Indian Motorcycles introduce the Challenge in the Indian market.
