The ix25 will be launched in India as the 2020 Hyundai Creta in 2020.
The 2020 Hyundai ix25 has been launched in China at an approximate starting price of Rs. 10.6 lakhs (CNY 1,05,800). In terms of design, the compact SUV seems to be inspired by the Hyundai Palisade. The all-new model measures 4300 mm in length, 1790 mm in width and 1620 mm in height. Compared to the first-generation model, it is 10 mm longer, 10 mm wider and anywhere from 2-26 mm lower. Even the wheelbase at 2610 mm, is 20 mm bigger.
The 2020 Hyundai ix25 gets LED headlights and taillights, 17-inch dual-tone alloy wheels, dual-pane panoramic sunroof, 12.3-inch LCD instrument panel, 10.4-inch portrait-style touchscreen infotainment system, EPB with automatic hold function, 360 degree camera, Blind-Spot View Monitor (BVM), Driver Attention Warning (DAW), Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist (FCA), Adaptive Smart Cruise Control (ASCC) and High Beam Assist (HBA) as part of its package.
Under the hood, the 2020 Hyundai ix25 gets an all-new naturally aspirated, 4-cylinder, 1.5-litre petrol engine that produces 114.75 PS at 6300 RPM and 143.8 NM of torque at 4500 RPM. The powermill is mated to a 6-speed manual transmission and a CVT.
