The all-new Hyundai i20 was officially revealed recently and now a new video has surfaced which shows the premium hatchback in more detail. The new generation i20 gets major changes to the interiors, exteriors and of course under the hood.
As seen in the video, the 2020 Hyundai i20 does look very striking. Compared to the outgoing model, the new car looks bigger and sharper. Design elements are quite mature and the vehicle boasts of a very proportionate body line and a good stance. The rear of the hatchback looks bold and might draw glances from people.
The 2020 Hyundai i20 gets ten colour options. The vehicle has a boot capacity of 351-litres which is pretty much the standard fare in the segment. The interior’s design looks like a segment above when compared to the current model. The steering wheel is similar to the one on the new Creta. The i20 gets Bose speakers, a 10.25-inch touchscreen, ambient lighting, wireless charging, climate control, keyless go, 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, wireless Apple CarPlay, BlueLink connectivity.
In global markets, the 2020 Hyundai i20 gets SmartSense driving assist systems but it remains to be seen whether these features are offered in India or not. The vehicle also gets navigation-based Smart Cruise Control. The Hyundai i20 will get three engine options in India. It will get a 1.2-litre NA petrol, a 1.0-litre turbo petrol and a 1.5-litre diesel engine in the same tune as the Venue.
