The 2020 BMW X6 has been launched in India. This luxury SUV is available in two variants here – xDrive40i xLine and xDrive40i M-Sport and both the variants are priced at Rs. 95 lakhs (ex-showroom). The X6 is available in the following exterior colour options – Riverside Blue Metallic, Carbon Black, Manhattan Metallic, Artic Grey, Mineral White, Flamenco Red Brilliant Effect, Sophisto Grey Brilliant Effect, Black Sapphire and Alpine White. Tanzanite Blue Metallic and BMW Individual Ametrine Metallic are two optional colour shades.
The styling of the 2020 BMW X6 comes across as very striking. Carrying forward the legacy of the old X6, the new model has a nice balance between luxury and sportiness and just like the old car, this one is also bound to catch eyeballs thanks to its coupe-SUV styling. The interior of the BMW X6 shares most of its design with its siblings and the equipment list is quite long. Under the hood of the 2020 BMW X6 is a 3.0-litre, inline-6 petrol engine producing 340 HP and 450 Nm. The vehicle can accelerate from 0-100 km/hr in 5.5 seconds and the top speed is electronically limited to 250 km/hr. The X6 has an 8-speed automatic transmission while the xDrive system splits the drive torque between the front and rear wheels as the situation demands. You get driving modes like Eco Pro, Comfort, Sport, and Sport+ and the X6 also comes with an auto-start/stop system, brake energy redistribution, 50:50 weight distribution and driving experience control systems. The vehicle is equipped with an adaptive 2-axle air suspension.
