Aprilia has revealed the snazzy and eye-catchy RS 660 at the ongoing EICMA.
The 2020 Aprilia RS 660 has been unveiled at the 2019 EICMA and this motorcycle impresses and how! This supersport is powered by a 660cc parallel-twin engine which is Euro-5 compliant. It churns out 100 HP but the manufacturer hasn’t revealed the torque output yet.
A lot of design inspiration has been taken from the beautiful Aprilia RSV4. It gets double fairing and the outer fairing increases downforce to improve high speed stability. The motorcycle gets LED lights, DRLs, 5-inch TFT display and smartphone connectivity.
The Aprilia RS 660 comes equipped with a six-axis inertial measurement unit and the engine has been derived from the front cylinders of the 1100cc mill that powers the RSV4. The motorcycle gets traction control, cornering ABS, 5 riding modes, up-down quickshifter, engine braking system, cruise control and wheelie control.
The RS 660 uses a twin-spar aluminium frame along with an aluminium swingarm while front suspension duties are taken care of by a fully adjustable 41 mm Kayaba fork. The bike gets Brembo calipers and dual 320 mm discs up front.
