Yamaha has launched the 2019 MT-09 in India. This motorcycle is priced at Rs. 10.55 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi) and it rivals the Kawasaki Z900, Triumph Street Triple 765 and Ducati Monster 821. The MT-09 is brought down to India as a CBU and dealers have started accepting bookings.

The 2019 Yamaha MT-09 comes with minor cosmetic changes over the previous model. It gets a White/Red colour scheme alongside the Black and Blue/Black options. The motorcycle gets a twin LED headlamp and the overall styling is a nice blend of sportiness and muscularity.

Powering this motorcycle is a 847cc, inline-3-cyl engine that puts out 111 HP and 87.5 Nm. The MT-09 gets a one-way quickshifter while the engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox. The engine gets 3 different modes and the the bike also gets ABS and traction control.
