The 2019 TVS Apache RR 310 comes with a slipper clutch and a new Panther Black colour option.
After teasing the updated motorcycle 10 days back, TVS has pulled the wraps off the new Apache RR 310. The Indian bike maker has equipped the Apache RR 310 with slipper clutch. They’ve termed this feature as Race Tuned (RT) Slipper Clutch. The updated motorcycle is available at select dealerships for Rs. 2.27 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi).
The 2019 TVS Apache RR 310 also comes with a new Panther Black colour. It makes the bike look more aggressive and the overall theme looks sporty with red accents and racy graphics. What’s interesting is the fact that TVS is offering this slipper clutch as a TVS Racing accessory. Existing owners of the RR 310 can retrofit slipper clutch at select dealerships.
The TVS Race Tuned (RT) Slipper Clutch comes with Assist Function which locks the clutch plates tightly increasing the clutch engagement force and reducing clutch effort. A slipper clutch adds to the convenience of changing gears quickly with low hand fatigue and better vehicle stability while downshifting at high speeds and around corners.
There are no other changes on the updated motorcycle. Powering the TVS Apache RR 310 is a 312.2cc, liquid cooled, single cylinder engine that produces 34 PS of power at 9700 RPM and 27.3 Nm of torque at 7700 RPM. This engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox with slipper clutch. The 2019 Apache RR 310 will be available with two colours – Racing Red and Phantom Black.
