Tata Tigor will get some cosmetic changes and new features including revised projector headlamps.
Tata Motors first launched the Tigor back in March 2017. And with this teaser image, we expect that the new Tigor will be launched within this year and in a few weeks. The compact sedan is expected to get some mild cosmetic changes on the exterior and interior with this update.
The new Tigor will be available in a new blue paint, which we have seen on the Hexa. The upcoming Tigor will sit on a set of brand new alloy wheels. Tata already offered projector lamps but it will be updated with restyled units. On the inside, there is expected to be a bigger touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity.
There will be no changes under the hood. The Tigor will be available with two engine options – 1.2-litre Revotron, 3-cylinder petrol and 1.05-litre 3-cylinder diesel unit. Both the engines will be mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox, but there will be an option of an AMT with the petrol engine. With the new features, expect a slight hike in price for the 2019 Tata Tigor.
