Tata has just launched the updated Tigor with mild changes.
Tata has been on fire in this recent period when it comes to launching new cars. Today the Indian carmaker has announced the launch of the 2019 Tata Tigor. This car gets updated interiors and exteriors and is available with the same 1.2-litre Revotron petrol and 1.05-litre Revotorq diesel variants.
The new Tigor gets dual chamber projector headlamps with chrome finish. It also gets a new dual tone 15-inch alloy wheels and LED indicators on the ORVMs with auto fold feature. The Tigor now offers six colours – Egyptian Blue, Roman Silver, Espresso Brown, Berry Red, Pearlescent White and Titanium Grey.
Coming to the interior, this car gets black and grey interior theme along with titanium colour faux leather seats. It also gets a new roof liner, height adjustable driver’s seat and rear armrest with cup holders as standard. It comes with scooped out front seat backs for more legroom, a 419-litre boot space and 24 smart spaces for carrying more.
On the safety front, the car gets high strength steel to enhance the body structure and dual airbags as a standard feature. The Tigor also gets ABS with electronic brakeforce distribution (EBD) and corner stability control.
Tata has claimed there is an improvement in the transmission assembly to reduce the vibration and deliver better performance. The new Tigor will come in five variants – XE, XM, XZ, XZA and XZ+, the company is also offering an AMT version on its XZ petrol variant.
