A refreshed version of Tata Tiago has been spied, it’ll get multiple changes.
The Tata Tiago is going to be updated soon with additional safety features to abide by the government norms like standard driver airbag, reverse parking sensors, speed sensing auto door lock, high-speed alert and seatbelt reminder.
The spied test mule is in Sunburst Orange colour with body-coloured OVRMs. The vehicle will get a mid-cycle update with tweaks to the exterior and interior. Cosmetic changes to the Tiago will be subtle, like the recently updated Tigor with slightly amped up bumpers, updated alloy wheels, smoked out headlamps, different grille section, etc.
The interior will get few feature additions too. Apart from the above mentioned safety features, the vehicle is likely to get a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system. It might even get slightly different colour themes for the upholstery.
The Tata Tiago is powered by a 1.2-litre, Revotron, 3-cylinder petrol engine that produces 84 BHP at 6000 RPM and 114 Nm of torque at 3500 RPM and is connected to a five-speed manual transmission or an AMT. The 1.05-litre three-cylinder Revotorq diesel engine, on the other hand, kicks out 69 BHP maximum power at 4000 RPM and 140 Nm of peak torque at 3500 RPM.
No mechanicals changes will be made to the vehicle. It’ll continue with the same engine options. Tata also sells the Tiago in JTP and NRG versions and these won’t get any changes too. The Tiago JTP is a performance-oriented version which comes with a 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol engine making 112 BHP and 150 Nm.
