The 2019 Nexon Kraz is available in both petrol and diesel engine options with a unique body paint combination.
Tata Motors has launched two new limited editions of its hot-selling compact SUV Nexon named the Kraz (manual) and the Kraz+ (AMT). Priced between Rs. 7.58 – 8.18 lakhs for petrol and Rs. 8.48 – 9.18 lakhs for the diesel (all prices ex-showroom), the 2019 Kraz is marking Nexon’s 1 lakh sales milestone. It is also the second edition of the Nexon Kraz as the 2018 edition featured lime-green highlights.
The 2019 Tata Nexon Kraz gets 10 styling highlights like a dual-tone black paint scheme with a silver roof and Tangerine coloured ORVMs. Some specks of the orange shade are seen on the grille and alloy wheels as well.
The cabin carries forward the same shade of orange on the seats and AC vents. The central console, dashboard and doors get a piano black trim. The model comes with steel wheels and corresponding special-edition wheel covers. Since the Nexon Kraz is based on the Nexon XM variant, it gets a 4-speaker infotainment system with Bluetooth connectivity and steering-mounted audio controls, a front 12V outlet, follow-me-home headlamps and power-folding wing mirrors.
The 2019 Tata Nexon Kraz and Kraz+ offer the same engine options as the standard Nexon. It gets a 1.2-litre petrol engine producing 110 PS and a 1.5-litre diesel engine producing 110 PS as well. Both engines are offered with a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed AMT gearbox option.
The Tata Nexon has a 5-star rating in Global NCAP’s crash tests. It competes with the Hyundai Venue, Mahindra XUV300, Maruti Vitara Brezza and the Ford EcoSport. The 2019 Kraz limited-edition is placed between the Nexon XM (Rs. 7.49-8.34 lakhs) and XT trims (Rs. 8.10-8.91 lakhs) in the compact SUV’s portfolio.
