The 2019 Tata Hexa has been launched in India at a starting price of Rs. 12.99 lakhs.
Tata Motors has launched the 2019 Hexa in India, wherein the vehicle gets some cosmetic enhancements and an updated infotainment system. The Hexa is now priced from Rs. 12.99-18.37 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi). While the lower variants of the vehicle have no change in their price tag, the premium variants see a hike of Rs. 20,000 /- so as to not overlap the pricing with the Harrier SUV.
The 2019 Tata Hexa features a new 7-inch Harman-sourced touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto connectivity. The infotainment is connected to the same 10-speaker JBL system as before. The vehicle also gets 19-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels in the XMA and XTA trims, while the mid-spec and top-spec manual variants get new 16-inch Charcoal Grey alloy wheels. The top-spec variants can now be had with dual-tone colour schemes such as Infinity Black and Titanium Grey. The interiors now get chrome trims around the AC vents and the infotainment system, whereas the steering wheel gets a black finish on its lower part.
The 2.2-litre diesel engine is unchanged and makes 156 BHP and 400 Nm of peak torque and is mated to either a 6-speed manual or an automatic transmission. The base Hexa XE continues with same engine in a lower tune that churns out 150 BHP and 320 Nm of torque and is mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox.
