Suzuki has launched the Access 125 special edition scooter in India at a price of Rs. 61,788/- (ex-showroom, Delhi). Touted as the Access 125 SE, this special edition costs Rs. 1600/- more than the standard Access 125. The scooter gets a new body colour, few standard features along with minor cosmetic changes and is available in the top-spec, disc-brake equipped variant only.
The Suzuki Access 125 SE can be differentiated from the standard model by a set of new chrome mirrors, a special edition badge, and black alloy wheels. It gets a new Metallic Matte Bordeaux (just read it as deep red!) body paint apart from the usual white and silver. It gets a long, tan-coloured leatherette seat and a DC socket as standard too. Other Access 125 variants offer the socket as an option.
The nimble Suzuki Access 125 SE derives power from a 124cc, single-cylinder engine good for 9 PS of power and a peak torque of 10.2 Nm. It rivals the Honda Grazia 125 (Rs. 65,374/-), TVS NTorq 125 (Rs. 59,995/-), Honda Activa 125 (Rs. 59,771/-) and the Hero Maestro Edge 125 (Rs. 65,125/-) [All prices ex-showroom].
