Renault has launched the 2019 iteration of the Kwid which comes with more safety features.
The 2019 Renault Kwid has been launched in India and it is priced from Rs. 2.67-4.63 lakhs (ex-showroom). The Kwid gets more safety features and an updated infotainment system while mechanicals continue to remain unchanged.
The Renault Kwid now comes with a standard driver airbag, ABS with EBD, driver and front passenger seatbelt reminder and speed alert system. The hatchback also gets a new touchscreen with features like Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Voice Commands, Video Playback and Aux-IN/USB compatibility.
The 2019 Renault Kwid comes with the same engine options. The 799cc engine produces 54 HP and 72 Nm and comes mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox while the 1.0-litre engine delivers 67 HP and 91 Nm, matched to either a 5-speed MT or an AMT. The 2019 Renault Kwid comes with a 4-year/1 lakh kms warranty.
