The 2019 Kawasaki Ninja 650 has been launched in India priced at Rs. 5.49 lakhs. The KRT edition comes at a price of Rs. 5.69 lakhs (both prices ex-showroom, pan-India). Currently, the MY2019 bikes are available in black colour whereas the 2018 model is still available in the blue colour.
The 2019 Kawasaki Ninja 650 gets only subtle cosmetic changes in the form of a new livery. Mechanically also, the bike remains unchanged. It continues to draw power from a 649cc, parallel-twin, liquid-cooled motor that produces 68 PS of power and 65.7 Nm of torque. Telescopic forks at the front and a monoshock at the rear take care of the suspension duties while braking performance comes from disc brakes at both ends (with ABS).
Besides the Honda CBR650F, the Ninja 650 does not have any direct rival in India. However, in terms of pricing, the motorcycle goes against the likes of the Harley-Davidson Street Rod and the Benelli TNT 600i.
