The 2019 Isuzu D-Max V-Cross does not get a BS6 compliant engine.
Isuzu India has launched the D-Max V-Cross with a diesel-automatic configuration at Rs. 19.99 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi). Available in a single Z-Prestige variant, Isuzu’s newest offering gets a 1.9-litre diesel engine instead of the previous 2.5-litre motor. It also costs around Rs. 3 lakhs more than the same. The Z-Prestige variant gets 4 colour options – Sapphire Blue, Ruby Red, Pearl White and Cosmic Black.
The new Isuzu D-Max V-Cross Z-Prestige trim is powered by a 1.9-litre diesel engine mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission. The oil-burner develops 150 PS of power and a peak torque of 350 Nm. Though it currently offers a BS4 compliant engine, the vehicle will be upgraded to meet the stringent BS6 norms before April 2020.
The 2019 Isuzu D-Max V-Cross gets an updated safety kit that includes 6 airbags and a brake override system. The cabin gets a dual-tone brown-black interior with perforated leather upholstery as well as live-surround speakers mounted on the roof. Other features include a 7.0-inch infotainment touchscreen with USB input, DVD, AUX, iPod and Bluetooth connectivity, a USB charging port, piano-black accents around the cabin and 18-inch alloy wheels.
The Isuzu V-Cross is available in a total of 3 variants – Standard, Z and the new limited edition Z-Prestige.
