2019 Hyundai Elantra Facelift Revealed

The 2019 Hyundai Elantra Facelift will be launched in India on 3rd October 2019.

The India-spec model might pick up a few features from the international Hyundai Elantra

Hyundai has begun bookings and officially revealed the new Elantra facelift. The sedan will get a new hexagonal grille along with a redesigned, triangular-shaped headlamp cluster with LED lamps and LED daytime running lights. The tail lamps have been slightly redesigned to complement the overall look. It looks much sharper, thanks to the new alloy wheels and creases on the bonnet and along with profile.

The 2019 Hyundai Elantra is likely to be powered by BS6-compliant versions of the existing 2.0-litre petrol engine and 1.6-litre diesel engine. Both powertrains are offered with a 6-speed manual and an automatic transmission. Hyundai might introduce the DSG automatic transmission which is seen on the global model

The India-spec model might pick up a few features from the international Hyundai Elantra that gets a forward-collision warning with automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitors, lane departure warning with active lane control and a rear-view camera with cross-traffic alert. Additionally, it also gets a pedestrian detection system and a feature called Safe Exit Assist that alerts the passengers of potential danger while exiting the sedan.
