The 2019 version of the Ford Figo comes with better cosmetic and safety upgrades and is priced from Rs. 5.15 lakhs
Ford has launched the 2019 version of the Ford Figo. The price for the 2019 Ford Figo starts at Rs. 5.15 lakhs (ex-showroom). The 2019 Ford Figo seems to draw a lot of inspiration from the Aspire facelift. The Figo is already a very popular car in this segment. Dealerships have also started taking bookings for the 2019 Ford Figo as well. The Figo will be available in three variants – Ambiente, Titanium and Titanium BLU.
The 2019 version of the Ford Figo comes with a similar styling like the Aspire facelift. The Figo gets new bumpers, a honeycomb like grille, swept back headlamps with DRLs and multi-spoke wheels. The interiors are new and very sleek looking makeover. It also gets climate control and a multi-function steering wheel along with keyless entry and push button start. From the safety feature perspective, the Figo gets dual airbags, a seat-belt reminder, speed alert system, ABS, EBD and rear parking sensors as standard to meet the safety norms. The range topping variant gets 6 airbags on offer.
The new Figo doesn’t get the SYNC3 system seen with the Aspire and there is no Apple CarPlay on offer. Instead it gets a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with in-built navigation.
Powering the 2019 Ford Figo is a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine delivering 94 BHP and 120 Nm of torque. It also gets a 1.5-litre TDCi diesel engine with maximum output of 98 BHP and 215 Nm of torque. Both the engines come mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox. Ford is also offering a 1.5-litre petrol version of the Figo with automatic transmission which belts out 123 PS and 136 Nm of torque.
The 1.2-litre petrol engine comes with a claimed fuel efficiency of 20.4 km/l. The 1.5-litre diesel engine returns a claimed mileage of 25.5 km/l. The 1.5-litre petrol automatic returns 16.3 km/l.
The 2019 Ford Figo will rival the likes of the Maruti Swift, Hyundai Grand i10, Nissan Micra and the Maruti Ignis.
