The 2019 Ford Figo facelift has been officially revealed by the company, ahead of its launch in India. The official launch is scheduled to happen on 15th March. However, the company has released images of the 2019 Figo on their official website which shows the new Figo in its glory.
The 2019 Ford Figo sports a lot of changes both on the exterior and the interior. The front and rear bumpers are now revised. The honeycomb looking grille gets chrome treatment along with restyled headlights and taillights. The wheels are also larger at 15-inch which are alloys. The 2019 Figo is expected to launch in three variants – Ambiente, Titanium and a new Titanium Blu variant which could be the top-end trim. The Titanium Blu variant looks sportier than the other variants owing to its contrast roof, a black grille and a different design for the alloy wheels.

Some other features which could make its way to the 2019 Figo are keyless entry, push-button start, automatic headlamps, rain-sensing wipers and a touchscreen infotainment system.
Ford will be offering the new SYNC3 infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. To keep everything in place with the upcoming safety norms, the facelifted hatchback would come along with ABS, rear parking sensors, a seat-belt reminder and a speed-alert system as standard. The range topping variant of the Figo will have a class-leading six airbags on offer.

The engine will be mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. The top variant of the Figo is expected to get Ford’s 1.5-litre petrol engine that makes 123 HP. It will be connected to a 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox rather than the dual-clutch gearbox. The 1.5-litre diesel engine making 100 HP along with a 5-speed manual gearbox will be carried over from the current generation Figo.
Dealers have already started taking bookings for the 2019 Ford Figo. The pricing of the new Figo is expected to be competitive. The 2019 Ford Figo will rival the likes of the Maruti Swift, Hyundai Grand i10 and the Volkswagen Polo upon its launch in India.
