The 2019 Ford Endeavour has been launched in India, priced from Rs. 28.19 lakhs (ex-showroom).
Ford has launched the mid-life facelift of its Endeavour in India today. Priced between Rs. 28.19-32.97 lakhs (ex-showroom), the Endeavour gets a much needed update to hold it’s throne up in the already competitive segment.
For starters, the changes are minimal but a welcome addition to the Ford Endeavour. At the front, the SUV gets a slightly reworked honey comb front grill with chrome bars running through it’s width, new headlight inserts and a tweaked bumper. Move over to side and you’ll notice that the Endeavour is now sitting on new dual tone alloy wheels that look stylish. At the rear, there are barely any changes.
Grab the door handle and step up inside, you’ll notice that the Ford Endeavour comes with a black and beige dashboard rather than the old car’s brown and beige. Also you’ll notice that you don’t need a key for starting up the car as Ford has now made available a push button start. In terms of equipment, the Endeavour also gets hands-free boot assist, Sync 3 UI, electrically adjustable front seats, 7 airbags, Hill Start Assist, Hill Descent Control, Rollover Protection, panoramic sunroof and dual zone climate control. Ford has deleted the headlamp washers that were present in the older car.
The Ford Endeavour continues to be available with a 2.2-litre diesel engine punching out 158 BHP and 385 Nm of torque and a 3.2-litre diesel engine punching out 197 BHP and 470 Nm of torque. The 2.2-litre engine also gets the option of a manual gearbox now. However, the 2.2-litre variants don’t get 4×4 which is available only with the larger 3.2-litre engine.
