The 2019 Bajaj Platina H Gear is an updated version of the Platina ComforTec 110. The bike will be sold in two variants. Drum brakes version will be priced at Rs. 53,376/-. The disc brake variant will be priced at Rs. 55,373/- (all prices, ex-showroom). The commuter bike is now equipped with a 5-speed gearbox and a front disc brake.
The bike comes with a neatly laid out semi-digital instrument cluster with segment first features like gear shift indicator, wrong gear selection alerts, low battery indicator, service due indicator and time. Bajaj has also equipped the bike with better seat cushioning for added comfort to the commuters.
The H Gear Platina comes with revised graphics and a new 3D emblem of Platina on the fuel tank making it a tad bit more attractive to prospective buyers. The ride quality of the bike is now improved as at the rear, a nitrox suspension is fitted for the first time and is better than the previous set-up.
Bajaj continues to power the Platina with the reliable 115cc single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that produces 8.6 PS and 9.81 Nm of torque. This engine was mated to a 4-speed gearbox, but after the update, it comes mated to a 5-speed unit.
