2018 Toyota Land Cruiser Prado unveiled at the ongoing Auto Expo, gets refreshed exterior and completely new interior.
Toyota has taken the wraps off the 2018 Land Cruiser Prado at the Auto Expo. The baby Land Cruiser will be launched in India this year and will come in three new colours – Blackish Ageha, Avant-Garde Bronze and Vintage Brown Pearl apart from the existing White Pearl, Silver Metallic, Grey Metallic, Attitude Black Metallic and Red Mica Metallic. Expect a considerable bump in the prices of the Land Cruiser Prado.
The 2018 iteration of the Toyota Prado features revised exterior. To start off with the design and looks, there is a huge (actually massive) grille up front that immediately catches your attention. While the hood gets minor tweaks, there is a new projector headlight setup with LED DRLs and a new bumper with new fog lamps housing. Side profile remains identical to the previous car while the rear gets new LED tail-lights.
The 2018 Toyota Land Cruiser Prado features a completely revamped cabin. The all-black dashboard (you can also opt for Natural Beige and Redwood) is all new and so is the 4-spoke multi-function steering wheel. The instrument cluster gets new dials while the infotainment system is grown in size. Other features that will be offered are front heated and cooled seats, illuminated door sills and leather upholstery.
The 7-seater SUV will continue to draw power from the same 3.0-litre 4-cylinder turbocharged diesel motor as before. Mated to a 5-speed automatic transmission, the oil-burner produces 171 HP of power and 410 Nm of torque. 7 airbags, ABS with EBD and BA, Vehicle Stability Control and Tyre Pressure Monitoring System are some of the safety features that will be on offer.
