The 2018 Toyota Camry Hybrid price is Rs. 37.22 lakhs, gets tweaks to the interior and added features.
The 2018 Toyota Camry Hybrid has been launched in India with a sticker price of Rs. 37.22 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi). The 2018 model gets revised interiors and extra features while the exteriors remain identical to the previous model.
On the outside, the 2018 Toyota Camry comes with automatic LED headlamps, LED fog lamps, 17-inch 15-spoke alloy wheels, wraparound tail lamps and a chrome garnish. There are no major revisions to the outside and it looks similar to the outgoing model.
The interiors get a black colour scheme with tan upholstery along with a faux wood trim on the dashboard, steering wheel, arm rests and centre console. The 4-spoke steering wheel has been replaced by a new 3-spoke unit. The sedan also gets a new touchscreen infotainment system with Bluetooth, navigation, USB, Aux-in and 12 speakers. Other features include an HUD, wireless charging, power reclining rear seats with collapsible headrest, ventilated front seats and 3-zone climate control.
Safety features include 9 airbags, ABS with EBD and Brake Assist, Hill Start Assist, Vehicle Stability Control, ISOFIX mounts and electronically controlled brake system.
The new Toyota Camry comes with a range of engines internationally but the India-spec model gets only the 2.5-litre, 4-cylinder petrol engine that produces 159 BHP of power at 5700 RPM and 213 Nm of torque at 4500 RPM. The powertrain is assisted by a motor generator which has a maximum output of 142 HP and 270 Nm. Using a 6.5 Ah Nickel-metal Hydride battery, the powerplant comes mated to a CVT (E-CVT) automatic transmission. There are two driving modes – ECO and EV on offer.
