The 2018 Black Pack edition Pulsars have been launched in India to celebrate the achievement of 1 crore Pulsar sales worldwide. The Black Pack edition is available in the Pulsar 150, 180 and 220. The special edition Pulsar 150, 180 and 220 only feature cosmetic upgrades and no mechanical changes as such.
The Black Pack edition Pulsars feature white painted alloy wheels, new and stylish graphics, premium finish on the paint and decals and a satin chrome exhaust cover. Bajaj claims the new special edition Pulsars offer a sporty, modern and aggressive look that will appeal to the dynamic Pulsar riders.
The Pulsar 150 is powered by a 149cc single-cylinder, air-cooled motor that produces 14 PS of power and 13.4 Nm of torque, while the Pulsar 180 draws power from a 179cc single-cylinder, air-cooled motor that produces 17.02 PS of power and 14.22 Nm of twist. Powering the Pulsar 220 is a 220cc single-cylinder, oil-cooled motor that produces 20.93 PS of power and 18.55 Nm of torque. All the three powerplants come mated to a 5-speed gearbox.
Since its launch in 2001, the Pulsar brand has been the most popular performance motorcycle brand. The Pulsar brand of motorcycles are currently sold in over 25 countries worldwide. Bajaj is yet to announce the pricing for the Black Pack edition Pulsars in India.
