Maruti has launched the 2018 Wagon R limited edition with some styling tweaks.
The festive season is on its way and Maruti has rolled out the Wagon R limited Edition now. The hatchback which is in the market since 1999 and has got many version ever since. This time Maruti has given some styling tweaks to the Wagon R limited edition.
The Wagon R limited edition comes with a lot of additional features such as interior styling kit, double-din Bluetooth music system and reverse parking sensors. In addition to that, it also gets new seat covers and a cushion set, body graphics and rear spoiler.
Apart from the styling kit, the Wagon R doesn’t get any updates on the mechanical front. It is powered by a 1.0-litre, 3-cylinder petrol engine which generates 67 BHP and 90 Nm of torque mated to 5-speed manual and 5-speed automatic transmission.
The Wagon R is among India’s top-five selling cars. Over 21.9 lakhs Wagon R units have been sold since its launch in 1999 and about 24 percent of Wagon R customers have bought the car more than once.
Maruti has offered the Wagon R limited edition with two optional accessories kits at a special price of Rs. 15,490/- and Rs. 25,490/- in India. The company is expecting to sell more units of the Wagon R this festive season with the limited edition model. Maruti has already launched a bunch of special edition cars this year.
