The new Civic was spotted at Honda’s Tapukara facility, launch could happen at 2018 Auto Expo.
The Honda Civic was first launched in India in 2006 and it was sold until 2013, when it was phased out from the Indian markets, owing to lower sales. That 7 year old run did generate a fan following that still exists and will for the decades to come as well.

However, Honda’s top executives say the model spotted at the Tapukara plant has been imported from Japan for research purposes only. It is also come to light that the new Civic would be made at Honda’s Greater Noida factory, where it produces the CR-V, Brio, Amaze and City.
The Honda Civic sells internationally in various forms, a coupe, hatchback, 4 door sedan and the more race-inspired Civic Type R.
