Honda Group of Companies from the Asia and Oceania region hosted the event.
Honda has kickstarted the Honda Asian Journey 2018. The event includes a three-day ride from November 2 to November 4, 2018. The riders began their journey from Penang and they are travelling all the way to Sepang International Circuit, in Sepang.
Honda 2Wheelers India is also participating in the event with 7 Indian riders, marking 2018 as the second consecutive year of the company’s participation.
A total of 7 Honda company subsidiaries from Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia, India and other Asian regions hosted this year’s event. The ride is being attended by more than 60 riders including several customers, Honda dealers and journalists. The caravan includes premium Honda bikes like the Honda Goldwing, Africa Twin, Honda CB1000R and many more.
On November 2, the journey started from Penang and continued to the mountainous district of Cameron Highlands. During the second day of the journey, on 3rd November, the campaign picked up from Cameron Highlands and riders went all the way to Putrajaya. The riders also met Honda GP riders here, including the 2018 Moto GP champ, Marc Marquez.
On November 4, all the riders are headed to the Sepang International Circuit, where they’ll cheer for their favourite Honda GP riders in the Malaysian Grand Prix. The total length of the journey from Penang to the Sepang circuit is around 490 km.
