The 2018 Honda Amaze warranty is best-in-class with a coverage of 3 years/unlimited kms.
The 2018 Honda Amaze will be launched in India on 16th May and in a bid to make it more compelling, the Japanese automaker will be offering a best-in-class 3 years/unlimited kms warranty. Out of its rivals, the Hyundai Xcent is the only other player which offers a 3 year warranty but with a cap of 1 lakh kms and the Volkswagen Ameo comes with unlimited kms warranty but only for 2 years. The Maruti Dzire comes with a 2 year/40,000 kms warranty while the Ford Aspire is offered with a 2 year/1 lakh kms warranty. The Tata Tigor, on the other hand, offers a 2 year/75,000 kms warranty.
The carmaker has announced that the special introductory prices (yet to be disclosed) will be applicable for the first 20,000 bookings only. The compact sedan is expected to be priced between Rs. 5.7 lakhs to Rs. 9.7 lakhs (ex-showroom). Key features in the vehicle include LED DRLs, 15-inch alloy wheels, rear parking sensors with camera, DIGIPAD 2.0 touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, push-button start, automatic climate control and electrically adjustable and folding ORVMs.
Powering the 2018 Honda Amaze are 1.2-litre petrol and a 1.5-litre diesel engines, both of which come with a 5-speed manual gearbox or a CVT automatic gearbox as optional. The new Amaze is the only car in the segment with a diesel-CVT engine-gearbox combination.
