2018 Hero Super Splendor launched in India with a sticker price of Rs. 53,443/-.
Post the unveil of the 2018 Super Splendor, Hero MotoCorp has announced the prices for the 125cc commuter bike. The 2018 Super Splendor has been priced at Rs. 53,443/- (ex-showroom, Mumbai) which is, in fact, lesser than the previous model. Targeted at young professionals, the motorcycle is available in five colours – Black with Purple, Black with Fiery Red, Black with Silver, Candy Blazing Red and Heavy Grey.
The 2018 Hero Super Splendor gets new graphics, an updated seat, wider rear tyre, AHO (All Time Headlamp On), side stand indicator, side reflector, chrome finish muffler, classic-looking tail-light and an under-seat storage. Underpinned by a tubular double cradle frame, the 2018 Super Splendor uses standard telescopic forks up front and adjustable twin shock absorbers at the rear. Braking duties are performed by 130 mm drum units both at the front and rear. A front disc should have been offered as optional at least.
The 2018 Hero Super Splendor comes powered by a 125cc air-cooled, 4-stroke, single-cylinder, TOD (Torque-on-Demand) motor that produces 11.4 PS of power at 7500 RPM and 11 Nm of torque at 6000 RPM. Featuring the i3S start/stop system, the engine is mated to a 4-speed gearbox. Compared to the previous model, Hero claims that the 2018 Super Splendor offers 27% more power and 6% more torque. Tipping the scales at 125 kg, the vehicle gets a 13-litres fuel tank.
