The 2018 Hero HF Dawn has been launched in India, is priced at Rs. 37,400/-.
Hero has silently relaunched the HF Dawn bike in India with a sticker price of Rs. 37,400/- (ex-showroom, Orissa). The entry-level bike in Hero’s portfolio was discontinued in May 2017 and has been reintroduced for 2018. Hero’s official website lists the price only for the state of Orissa making us believe that the bike could be on sale only in that particular state, as of now.
For 2018, the bike gets revised styling. The spoked wheels, front forks, engine and the pillion grab rail now come finished in black which makes the bike look a lot sportier than before. There are subtle graphics on the bike. Powering the 2018 HF Dawn is the same 100cc motor as before. The 97.2cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine produces 8.36 PS of power and 8.05 Nm of torque. This powertrain comes mated to a 4-speed gearbox.
The vehicle sits on a tubular double cradle frame and is suspended via telescopic forks up front and twin shock absorbers at the rear. Braking duties are performed by a 130 mm drum brake at the front and 110 mm drum brake at the rear.
