The 2017 Volvo S60 Polestar has been launched in India, priced at Rs. 52.5 Lakhs.
Volvo India has launched its first performance model here and it is the S60 Polestar which is a performance oriented version of the S60 sedan. The S60 Polestar is the replacement for the S60 T6 and it is priced at Rs. X lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi).
On the outside, the Volvo S60 Polestar comes with an aggressive body kit which showcases the sporty intentions of the car. The interiors are similar to the regular S60 but the Polestar gets sport seats, carbon fibre inserts and nubuck leather.
Under the hood, the Swedish performance sedan is powered by a 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder engine that is turbocharged and supercharged, thus producing 367 HP of power and 470 Nm of torque. Power is sent to all wheels via an 8-speed automatic transmission. The Polestar also gets other changes like a stiffer suspension, bigger turbocharger, and larger brakes.
The 2017 Volvo S60 Polestar competes with the Mercedes C43 AMG and Audi S5.
