The 2017 Toyota Prius has been launched in India, priced at Rs. 38.96 lakhs.
The 4th generation Toyota Prius has been launched in India at a price of Rs. 38.96 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi). The new Prius is the first vehicle to come with the Toyota New Generation Architecture (TNGA). The vehicle is available in only 1 trim – Z8.
Powering the 2017 Toyota Prius is a 1.8-litre engine that has an excellent ARAI-claimed fuel efficiency of 26.27 km/l. The Prius gets the eco-friendly Hybrid Synergy Drive system. The vehicle also has regenerative braking and it can be driven in the regular Drive mode as well as EV mode.
On the outside, the Prius comes with LED headlamps, LED foglamps with DRLs, 15-inch alloy wheels and body-coloured door handles. The Prius also gets a smart entry system for the driver and passenger doors as well as the rear doors. You also get a push start system, leather seats, Eco driving indicator (Eco-Lamp and HV Indicator), touchscreen audio system with 10 JBL speakers with CD, DVD, FM, AM, Bluetooth, USB and Aux-in playback options.
The Prius also gets pitch and bounce control, follow me home headlamps, front seats heater, HUD, wireless charger and dual auto AC. The vehicle is loaded with 7 airbags, seat belt warning, ABS, BA, EBD, TCS, VSC, immobiliser and ISOFIX mounts at the rear.
