Toyota has given the Corolla Altis a mild nip and tuck facelift and it now comes with sleeker exteriors and additional safety features.
The Toyota Corolla Altis is an extremely popular executive sedan worldwide. The vehicle is sold in India too and is bringing in good numbers every month. The Japanese automaker has now revealed a mid-life facelift of the Corolla Altis and the vehicle is going to go on sale in the Australian market in early 2017 and the 2017 Toyota Corolla Altis facelift will be launched in India towards the later part of 2017.
The front fascia looks very sleek now and the headlights have got a striking look. The bumper also gets a new design and comes with multiple slats. The upper part of the top grille is complemented by a chrome garnish. Another significant update is the addition of LED headlamps with LED DRLs.
The side profile doesn’t seem to have any noticeable changes and the rear also doesn’t get any changes apart from the LED tail lamps. The interiors are also likely to remain similar to the current model and we can only expect Toyota to offer some new colour schemes for the insides.
The Australian version of the 2017 Toyota Corolla Altis facelift will now come with added safety features like Pre-Collision System (PCS), Lane Departure Alert and Automatic High Beam. These new technologies will make use of laser and a camera that will be installed on the front windscreen. These features won’t be available in India because the government doesn’t allow radar frequencies for vehicles.
