Suzuki has recently unveiled the new Wagon R and Stingray in Japan.
Suzuki has revealed the 2017 models of the Wagon R and Stingray for the Japanese market. The car launched in Japan comes with two engine options, petrol and hybrid. The hybrid version even differs in looks compared to the petrol version. The bumper differs in both versions and there have been some changes made to the headlamps of the vehicle.
The new Wagon R and Stingray get vertically stacked headlamps with some bits of LED lamps. Some changes have also been made to the front grille of the vehicle. The Suzuki hatchback now gets vertically shaped fog lamps. Now coming to the the side of the car, both the Wagon R and Stingray seem to have followed the looks from the previous model. There are some distinctive changes that have been made at the rear. The tail lamps have now been placed at a different location and the roof mounted spoiler gets LED brake lights.
The 2017 Suzuki Wagon R has a good looking interior. The infotainment system now comes with a touch-screen and the gear lever has been placed on the dashboard. The seats now come with all black leather. The interiors used in the Stingray are the same as that of the Wagon R. The petrol engine used in the Wagon R is a 600cc, three-cylinder motor. This powerplant is good to produce 51 BHP of max power and 60 Nm of torque. The hybrid variant used here is the SHVS motor which the Indian market is familiar with as it is used in the Ciaz and Ertiga.
Suzuki also announced that they are working on a 4WD version of the Wagon R. This could be an exiting product when launched.
