As Suzuki prepares to start sales of 2017 Swift in Japan, it has launched some accessories for the car.
Just a couple of days before the new Swift goes on sale in Japan, Suzuki has unveiled two accessory kits for the hatchback, called the ‘Elegant Style’ and the ‘Sport Style’.
The ‘Elegant Style’ package is the cheaper of the two with a price of ¥1,34,946 (Rs. 78,456/-) and consists of a chrome spoiler lip, chrome strip on the tailgate, chrome ORVMs and fog-lamp housings and a restyled fuel cap. The ‘Sport Style’, on the other hand, retails at ¥2,86,578 (Rs. 1,66,613/-) and its features include a front spoiler, side-skirts, sportier rear diffuser, a new rear spoiler and black ORVM caps. As you can see in the images, the prices of all the accessories have been listed individually, suggesting that they will be offered on sale separately as well.
The new generation Swift made its official debut last week and is expected to be launched in India during this year’s festive season or maybe early 2018. It is based on the same platform as the Baleno and gets revamped exterior and interior layouts. We will probably continue with the same 1.2-litre petrol and 1.3-litre diesel engines, although this time customers will get an automatic gearbox option as well.
