Suzuki has launched the 2017 SP editions of the Gixxer SF and Gixxer, which feature a new tri-colour paint job.
Suzuki has launched the 2017 Gixxer SP and Gixxer SF SP priced at Rs. 81,175/- and Rs. 99,312/- respectively (ex-showroom, Delhi). Both the Gixxer SP and Gixxer SF SP feature a new tri-colour paint job with graphics on the front cowl and the fuel tank and a Gixxer SP 2017 emblem.
The Gixxer SP and Gixxer SF SP don’t get any mechanical changes. Both the motorcycles continue to be powered by the 155cc single-cylinder engine that produces 14.8 HP of power and 14 Nm of torque. While the Gixxer SP’s mill is a carburetted unit, the Gixxer SF SP uses a fuel-injected powerplant. The engines on both the motorcycles come paired to a 5-speed gearbox. The Gixxer SF SP gets single-channel ABS.
Both the Gixxer SP and Gixxer SF SP sport telescopic suspension up front and a monoshock at the rear. Braking is taken care via disc brakes at both ends.
The 2017 Gixxer SP range is available in the Orange Black paint scheme across all Suzuki dealerships. While the Suzuki Gixxer rivals the Yamaha FZ V2.0, Bajaj Pulsar NS 160 and Honda CB Hornet 160R, the Gixxer SF rivals the Yamaha Fazer V2.0.
