Both the bikes have seen a slight hike in price as compared to the old version.
As we have already reported that Bajaj is working to give a touch of upgrades to its highly successful Pulsar siblings. And now, we have for you the finalised official prices of the 2017 Pulsar 150 and Pulsar 180. The former has been priced at Rs. 73,513/- and the latter will retail for Rs. 79,545/- (ex-showroom, Delhi).
Talking about the younger sibling, the Pulsar 150 has received a minor style tweak. Now it comes with refreshed decals and textured seat for better grip. Moreover, a new colour scheme has been added to it with blue shade. The Pulsar 180, similarly, received the resembling cosmetic tweaks with new graphics.
The rule by the government of making all the bike engines compliant with BS-IV emission norms will be operational by April 2017. The Bajaj Pulsar 180 has received an engine upgrade under which it has been made BS-IV compliant. On the other hand, the Pulsar 150 has retained the same engine which is not BS-IV emission norms compliant.
The Bajaj Pulsar 150 comes with a 150cc single-cylinder, 4-stroke DTS-i engine that puts out 15 PS of power and 12.5 Nm of torque. Whereas, the Pulsar 180 consists of a 178.6cc single-cylinder, 4-stroke DTSi engine that churns out 17.2 PS of power and 14.22 Nm of torque. Both the engines are mated to a 5-speed transmission.
