The 2017 Nissan Terrano facelift has been launched in India, priced between Rs. 9.99-14.20 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi).
After a long wait, Nissan has finally launched the Terrano facelift in India and it is priced from Rs. 9.99-14.20 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi).The exteriors of the Terrano facelift look similar apart from the new electrically folding ORVMs with integrated turn indicators. However, you now get a new Sandstone Brown colour option. You also get optional L-shaped LED DRLs and chrome trims for the fog lamp housing.
On the inside, there is a new dual-tone colour scheme on the dashboard, seats and door pads. The steering wheel gets a new design and comes with audio controls too. The Terrano also gets cruise control now. Also on offer is a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with navigation and voice recognition. Other changes include new seat fabric, driver armrest and white backlit for the power window switches. Nissan has omitted rear AC vents from the SUV.
No changes have been made to the mechanicals. The Terrano continues to get the same set of petrol and diesel engines. The petrol engine is a 1.6-litre unit churning out 103 HP at 5750 RPM and 148 Nm at 3750 RPM, mated to a 5-speed MT. The diesel engine is a 1.5-litre DCi unit offered in two states of tune. The lower tune produces 84 HP at 3750 RPM and 200 Nm at 1750 RPM, mated to a 5-speed MT while the higher tune produces 108 HP at 4000 RPM and 245 Nm at 1750 RPM, offered with 6-speed MT and AMT gearboxes.
The Nissan Terrano competes with the Renault Duster, Hyundai Creta and Honda BR-V.
