2017 Nissan GT-R Bookings Open In India For Rs. 25 Lakhs

2016 Nissan GT-R Track Review

The Nissan GT-R needs no introduction and we are exhilarated by the news of the arrival of the newest iteration of the car.

The GT-R is as good as the ones that you have raced on your gaming console

Nissan India has declared the start of pre-bookings for the 2017 GT-R in India. The latest GT-R was revealed at the New York International Auto Show in March earlier this year and is all set to hit Indian shores before the end of 2016.

The 2017 GT-R, Nissan’s flagship sports car model, has received the most noteworthy changes since it made its debut in 2007. Nissan believes that aided by new levels of refinement and excitement, the GT-R will delight Indian performance car enthusiasts with its revised exterior styling, opulent interiors, driving performance enhancements and vital new features.

Customers can pre-order their 2017 Nissan GT-R by paying a deposit of Rs. 25 lakhs. You have to experience one to understand what the fuss is all about. Nothing can prepare your senses for the savagery that the GT-R can dish out. That understated nature and the discretion made me fall for the GT-R.

A key figure at Nissan India Operations, stated that the 2017 GT-R will bring more excitement to the Nissan range in India. GT-R represents the pinnacle of Nissan’s driving performance and this latest model has become even more powerful and luxurious. He added that they are proud to offer this legendary sports car to Indian performance car enthusiasts.

The GT-R’s heart is injected with Nissan’s state of the art 3.8-litre V6 24-valve twin-turbocharged engine that churns out 570 PS of power at 6800 RPM and 637 Nm of torque. Being handbuilt by master craftsmen in Japan known as “Takumi”, GT-R engines are mated to a 6-speed dual-clutch transmission. The car sprints from 0-100 km/hr in less than 3 seconds and there ain’t many who can keep up with the sadistic launch control of the Godzilla.

The interiors will be in leather matching trims which will be in sync with the colour options namely Katsura Orange (new for 2017), Vibrant Red, Pearl Black, Storm White, Daytona Blue, Gun Metallic and Ultimate Silver that complement the car’s sophisticated character. In India, the GT-R will be offered in the European spec Premium Edition.
