The 2017 Maruti DZire Tour has been silently launched in India and this time around it also gets a petrol engine.
Maruti Suzuki has launched the Swift DZire Tour, the taxi variant of the Swift DZire and the prices have been announced too. Price for the diesel variant is Rs. 5.99 lakhs, and this new generation model of the Tour version also benefits from a petrol motor, for which it is priced at Rs. 5.24 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi).
Not much is offered on the features front, the 2017 Maruti DZire Tour only gets a multi-information display and power windows, dual-tone beige and black interiors with beige fabric upholstery and some wood garnish thrown in on the dashboard and the door cards, while the exteriors manage with only silver steel wheels, black plastic grille, body-painted A pillar and black ORVM enclosures.
Under the hood, there’s the 1.3-litre DDiS diesel mill that comes mated to a 5-speed gearbox as in the outgoing model. A 1.2-litre K-Series petrol powetplant debuts in the DZire Tour, matched to a 5-speed gearbox with both engines offering the same output as the regular DZire which will be replaced by the third generation model on the 25th of May. The Maruti DZire Tour competes with the Hyundai Xcent Prime in the Indian market.
