Bookings for the upcoming 2017 Maruti DZire have started at some dealerships in Mumbai and Delhi.
Unofficial bookings have started for the new 2017 Maruti Swift DZire that will be launching this month end or in early May. Booking amount varies from Rs. 10,000/- to Rs. 21,000/- at select dealerships in Mumbai and Delhi. The new DZire gets a host of changes to the exteriors and interiors and thus prices might increase a bit.
Lookswise, the new DZire shall bear resemblances to the new generation Swift. However there shall be some differences among the two. The vehicle gets some chrome surrounds on the grille, projector headlamps, LED DRLs, LED tail lamps etc. The interiors too have undergone a major rejig. There’s a new flat-bottom steering wheel and a 7-inch touch-screen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Expect the new DZire to come with the same 1.2-litre K-Series petrol motor and the 1.3-litre DDiS diesel engine.
The compact sedan segment is heating up with the new launch of the DZire scheduled for the near future, while Hyundai launched the updated Xcent today and Tata launched the new Tigor recently. Ford has also launched the Sports Edition of the Figo Aspire.
