The 2017 KTM RC 200 and RC 390 have been launched in India, priced from Rs. 1.72 lakhs.
2017 KTM RC 200
The 2017 KTM RC 200 gets a refreshed livery, new body graphics and a white fuel tank. The engine is the same as the 2016 model without any changes. It produces 25 HP of power and 19.2 Nm of torque and comes paired to a 6-speed gearbox. The engine is BS IV compliant too. The front disc brakes have gotten bigger in size from 280 mm to 300 mm. The bike continues to come with an underbelly exhaust. It also gets an aluminium swingarm and upside down suspension. The 2017 KTM RC 200 is priced at Rs. 1.72 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi).
2017 KTM RC 390
The 2017 KTM RC 390 gets ride-by-wire tech, slipper clutch and a 320 mm front disc. Throttle response gets improved by ECU-based acceleration. The bike now gets a side mounted exhaust unlike the previous model. The new aluminium exhaust has been added to comply with the stricter emission norms. The bike gets a slight redesign and it gets a new black and white paint scheme with new body graphics.
The fairing now comes with an RC 390 badge and the orange trellis frame extends up to the rear seat. The ABS sensor has been re-positioned and the new meter gets new features. The front alloy is a bit wider and the front brake pad is sintered. The RC 390 also gets a new Bosch fuel pump with changed fuel pump pressure. Vibrations are reduced by more rubber mounts on the fairing. The 2017 KTM RC 390 is priced at Rs. 2.25 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi).
