The KTM 390 Duke has been spied testing in India for the second time. Earlier it was spied at Bajaj Auto’s plant in Chakan and now it has been spied on the old Mumbai-Pune highway. The new bike will come with a lot of significant updates and it has already created a lot of buzz.

The bike gets a tweaked design and some key features like dual LED headlamps, redesigned fuel tank, a new tweaked frame in white and orange colour and some fresh graphics. It is expected that the bike will be powered by the updated version of the current Duke’s 373cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine.

This engine is belts out 44 BHP of power and 35 Nm of torque. There will be some more updates like Metzeler tyres, a slipper clutch, ride-by-wire, dual channel ABS, an updated exhaust system, updated ECU and a second counter balancer shaft for the engine.

Production of the 2017 KTM Duke 390 will reportedly commence from October 2016 and it might hit the showrooms in India in early 2017. The 2017 KTM Duke 390 will compete with TVS Akula 310 and BMW G310R. There is likely to be a slight hike in the price of the bike too.
