Specifications of the 2017 KTM Duke 250 have been revealed and the bike produces 29.5 HP and 24 Nm.
The upcoming 2017 KTM Duke 250 was recently revealed and now the specifications of the bike are out. The 2017 KTM Duke 250 gets a 248.8cc, water-cooled, single cylinder, 4-stroke engine that produces 29.5 HP of power at 9000 RPM and 24 Nm of torque at 7250 RPM. The engine is mated to a 6-speed transmission.
The gearbox comes with an anti-hopping clutch. The 4 valves in the cylinder are actuated by 2 overhead camshafts and carbon-coated cam followers. The 2017 KTM Duke 250 comes on a steel trellis frame with a WP suspension at the front and a new swingarm design. The bike also comes with a new exhaust system and dual channel ABS. The Duke also gets a 300 mm disc and a 4-piston caliper.
The styling of the Duke 250 gets inspiration from the Super Duke. However, it misses out on the split headlights. The body panels have a sharp design and the design looks sporty enough. The bike is manufactured in India, but KTM won’t launch it here most probably and it will continue to be exported to other markets.
