2017 Kawasaki Z250 Images Reveal New Colour Scheme

The 2017 Kawasaki Z250 and Z650 images clicked as they reach a dealership in Mumbai.

These are the very first pictures of the 2017 Kawasaki Z250

In April this year, the Kawasaki Z250 was relaunched in India with a BS4 mill. Kawasaki’s entry-level offering in India is priced at Rs. 3.09 lakhs (ex-showroom, Pune). However, during the launch event, Kawasaki did not show either the Z250 nor did they show its images.

Nonetheless, we have got some pictures of the Z250 which has arrived at a dealer in Mumbai. The Z250 on display is in the green colour scheme sporting gold-painted alloys. The 2017 iteration is no different from the outgoing model, except for the BS4 mill. The 249cc, parallel-twin engine produces 32 HP at 11,000 RPM and 21 Nm of torque at 10,000 RPM, paired to a 6-speed gearbox. The motorcycle sorely misses out on ABS for the price that it is offered.

Now talking about the Z650, Kawasaki launched it earlier in March this year and during the launch it did not show us the Z650 in the white paint shade. However, we have got our hands on pictures of the white Z650 as well. The frame painted in light green and the white colour on the motorcycle goes well. There are minimal graphics on the motorcycle.

Replacing the ER-6n, the Z650 is powered by the same 649cc, parallel-twin, liquid-cooled engine that powered the ER-6n. This powerplant is capable of producing 67.2 HP and 65.7 Nm of torque. This bike gets ABS and slipper clutch and comes priced at Rs. 5.19 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi).
