2017 Hyundai Verna Spotted On Test, Launch In August

The 2017 Hyundai Verna was recently spotted testing in Delhi as well as on a highway in Chennai.

The 2017 Hyundai Verna spotted was probably a fully loaded variant

The 2017 Hyundai Verna has been caught testing at different locations, once at the national capital, Delhi (by our reader George Johnson) and once on a highway in Chennai (by our reader Nishant Kumar). Both the times the car was heavily camouflaged, revealing very little details.

The spotted car was probably a fully loaded variant, as it featured LED Daytime Running Lights (DRLs), LED tail-lights and wore sporty diamond-cut alloy wheels with disc brakes for all four wheels. The 2017 iteration of the model is expected to be powered by the same 1.4-litre petrol and diesel engines producing 90 HP and 107 HP of power respectively. The top of the line 1.6-litre petrol and diesel engines producing 123 HP and 128 HP of power respectively will also be on offer.

India will be an export hub with more and more Vernas being exported to other countries. The car is expected to launch in India by August 2017 and rivals the Honda City and Maruti Suzuki Ciaz.
