Honda has launched the Activa 4G BS-IV and it costs Rs. 440/- more than the Activa 3G.
Honda has updated the Activa 4G and given the scooter some mechanical as well as cosmetic updates. First and foremost, the Activa is now BS-IV compliant, it also gets AHO and is now called 4G.
On the cosmetic front, the Honda Activa 4G now gets a new front centre cover design along with two new colours – Matte Selene Silver Metallic and Matte Axis Grey Metallic in addition to the usual colours. The scooter also gets a mobile charging socket as well as a retractable front hook.
The Honda Activa 4G continues to come with the same 110cc HET engine but it now produces 9 Nm of torque at 5500 RPM while power remains unchanged at 8 HP at 7500 RPM. The scooter gets Combi Brake System (CBS). The 2017 Honda Activa 4G BS-IV is priced at Rs. 50,730/- (ex-showroom, Delhi).
The Honda Activa is India’s highest selling scooter and that too by a big margin as it sells almost 8 times that of the second most selling scooter. Last month, Hero MotoCorp managed to outsell the Activa with its Splendor.
