The 2017 Hero Maestro Edge gets AHO, dual tone colour schemes and a tweak to the engine.
The Hero Maestro Edge competes in the 110cc scooter segment, rivalling the Honda Activa. Hero MotoCorp will soon launch the 2017 Maestro Edge and the two-wheeler is going to come with some changes to the engine. Along with that, it will also get AHO and a couple of new dual tone colour schemes.
The Hero Maestro Edge is powered by a 110.9cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled OHC engine that produces 8.31 HP at 8000 RPM and 8.6 Nm at 6500 RPM currently. However, the 2017 model will produce 8 HP at 7500 RPM and 8.7 Nm at 5500 RPM. Due to this retuning, the engine will churn out slightly better fuel efficiency.
Also, while there is no mention about it, the scooter is likely to be BSIV compliant now. The 2-wheeler has been available with a choice of 7 colours and now it will get 2 more dual tone colour themes – Sporty Matte Grey & Red and Active Matte Grey & Blue. On the equipment front, the Maestro Edge comes with digital-analogue instrument cluster, LED tail lamp, integrated braking system, mobile charging port with boot light and tubeless tyres.
